Our Story
Created by Dan Newell, Billy’s Band is a world of musical adventure inspiring children and families to have fun making music. The brand and its programme of activities has seen Billy guiding children, teachers, and families through engaging musical stories at home, online, in school workshops and at family concerts, encouraging them to pick up an instrument and have a go.
ABOUT BILLY
Billy is a wise and brilliant bandmaster. He takes his band to play all kinds of music weird and wonderful locations. Wherever the gig the band are always faced with some problem to be solved, but by pulling together they always find a solution!

Dan Newell creator of Billy’s Band believes passionately that all children should have the opportunity to enjoy the experience of making music, it is his dream that Billy will become the first music teacher to children all around the world!
